POST-GAME
Completed Match Report

The referee crew completes the match report by recording the following information

Goals (goals scorers with times)

Substitutions (players in and out with times)

Misconducts (players carded with codes and times)

Both clubs verify the match statistics and sign the match report
Score Reporting

The home team is responsible for reporting all match scores by 8pm, the day of the match

Home team emails scores to

NYCSL NPL league name, age group, team names and final score required to report score

League standings will update within 24 hrs of receipt
-
Please remember that all official scores are based on the match report submitted by the referee
Online Match Report
-
Although scores and statistics are to be verified at the field, clubs are required to ensure that all information is correctly posted online
-
Online match reports are entered by referees within 24 hours of the game being played
-
Clubs are required to verify online statistics in addition to any internal records being maintained
-

Referee Evaluations-(WIP)

Log into NYCSL NPL site www.nyclubsoccerleague.com as a club or team administrator

Visit the appropriate team page(s) for your club

Click on the ‘Ref Eval’ link to complete and submit the evaluation

Each team will be allowed to submit one evaluation per game

All players reporting into the game will provide a player pass to the referee prior to entering the field.

The referee will return all player cards at halftime to both teams for the second half.

Permitted at any stoppage
Uniforms

All uniforms must be numbered

The home team wears a light (white) uniform and the away team wears a dark (non-white) uniform
-
When playing 2 consecutive game days, the home teams wear light (white) on the first day (Saturday) and then dark (non-white) on the second day (Sunday)
DISCIPLINE
Yellow Cards
-
2 yellow cards in the same game results in a red card
Red Cards
-
Players receiving a red card will serve a minimum 1 fixture date suspension
-
The suspension is served during the club’s next scheduled fixture date
-
Red card suspensions apply to all NYCSL NPL games
-
NYCSL NPL staff will determine suspension dates in the event of a rescheduled game
Coach Dismissals
-
Dismissed coaches are suspended for the remainder of that fixture date and for the club’s next scheduled fixture date
-
Coach dismissal suspensions apply to all NYCSL NPL games
Yellow Card Accumulation
-
Players are suspended for 1 home fixture date for every 5 yellow cards received
-
Suspensions apply when a player’s yellow card total reaches 5, 10, 15, 20, etc.
-
Suspensions are served for the next home fixture date after reaching the predetermined total
-
Receiving 2 yellow cards in the same match resulting in a red card does not count towards a player’s yellow card accumulation
Club Responsibilities
-
Enforce the suspension rules as they apply to red cards and yellow card accumulation
-
Keep internal records of all yellow and red cards
-
Verify that the information displayed on the team page and online match reports is accurate
-
Failure to enforce the rules properly may result in forfeit and fine
-
