Referees outlined above are shared by home and the away team on a 50-50% basis. NYCSL covers all assignor fees.NYCSL Cup RosterMaster roster of 26 players as per US Club rules is frozen 1 week prior to the first match.Game day rosters are capped at 15 for U9 and U10, 18 for U11 and older . All of the players must be from the same club, of the appropriate age group or younger and must be listed on the approved, official NYCSL Cup game roster. A player is limited to playing for one team in NYCSL Cup.Pass CardsPass cards will be issued for each player and staff member that registers with US Club Soccer. All players and coaches participating in NYCSL Cup games must hold current pass cards, and these pass cards must be brought to each game. Matches

Substitutions may be performed during ANY stoppage of play and are unlimited as long as the process conforms to FIFA Law and with the permission of the Referee
In the event of inclement weather or unplayable field conditions, the home team coach must notify the referee, all visiting coaches and the Match Coordinator of the game cancellation. Notification must be made a minimum of 2 hours prior to the scheduled kick off. Within the 2 hr timeframe preceding the game, only the referee may cancel the game. A canceled game must be rescheduled within 48 hrs.
Disciplinary
A send off (red card) will result in a minimum of a one (1) game suspension. A send off as a result of two cautions will result in the player or coach being suspended for the next match. All suspensions shall commence immediately. If a second game is to be played that day, the suspended player is not eligible and the referee should note it on the game card. The home team is responsible for informing the league that a red card infraction has occurred and the league will inform all parties affected the length of suspension. Referees will return all players/coaches passes to the teams and will list on the Game Card any send-offs with player/coach name and US Club Soccer number, and infraction. Referee will need to fill out a send off report and send it to NYCSL at Kris DeBenedittis. NYCSL reserves the right to impose additional suspensions, depending upon the severity of the offense and accumulation of suspensions.
Any team utilizing ineligible player, either not properly registered with the team, presenting fradulent documents or allowing a player/coach to participate during a suspension, will forefeit any affected games and a 3-0 win awarded to the opposing team.
NYCSL shall have the authority to suspend, fine or disqualify players, team officals or competing lubs for violating league rules, or for any action or conduct not in the best interest of soccer or NYCSL
No-Shows and Forfeits
A no-show occurs when a team willfully does not show up at a game agreed to by the league, following the 15-minute grace period allowed after the scheduled kick off. Penalties for no-shows are as follows:

A forfeit to the opposing team and additional loss of three points.

One no show may result in a team being terminated at the discretion of NYCSL Board of Directors.

The accumulation of two no-shows in a season shall result in the team’s termination from the league or NY Cup
-
A forfeit will result in a 3-0 win to the team not at fault.

A forfeit will result in a fine of $100 which must be paid prior to your next scheduled game-No exceptions
NY CUP 2011-2012 U9-U15 Information
The NY Cup will be based on a new and exciting format modeled after the UEFA Champions League. NYCSL's goal and vision in offering such an exciting format is to elevate the level of play which will allow fair and balanced competition for all teams. Here are some of the highlights of the NY Cup Format:

Two Stage Competition (Group Stage and Single Elimination Rounds)

Teams will be distributed into 8 evenly balanced brackets

Each team will play at least 3 games
-
Points will be rewarded in Group 1 Stage

Semi-Final and Final matches will be played on a single weekend in June of 2012

Gold (Top Tier) and Silver (2nd Tier) divisions will be created based on teams ability
